Reunion Planning Information
Each year Wheaton College welcomes back nearly 2,000 alumni and guests for Homecoming and Alumni Weekend. Classmates from all over the world gather to rekindle old friendships, remember great times, and share what God has been doing in their lives since graduation. While the Alumni and Parent Engagement office coordinates all the details, it relies on the help of volunteers to plan meaningful events for their classmates. Without help from alumni like you, reunions wouldn’t be personal! Here are a few ways you can contribute to your next reunion.
Take part in planning all the fun parts of your reunion and create a weekend that will be both meaningful and memorable for your classmates. Whether you emcee an event, put together a picture slideshow, share a meaningful devotion, or create trivia games to break the ice, your input will personalize the reunion experience.
Everyone loves being invited to a party, so get involved in your reunion by inviting classmates to attend. Reach out to friends and classmates by phone, email, on social media, or send a personal note, and let them know you want to see them!
Host Classmates on Campus
Whether your classmates are coming back to campus for the first time in five or fifty years, a personal welcome makes a difference. Consider welcoming classmates back to campus as you attend reunion events and spend time on campus. There are many opportunities to meet alumni in the Welcome Center or greet classmates throughout the weekend.
These are just a few ways to participate in the reunion planning experience, so fill out the volunteer form or contact us for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org or 630-752-5047.
